Buyer Tools for Early Project Planning
Use these working templates while product drawings or project details are still developing. They help you organize inputs, track open items, and compare stated quotation scope. Confirm project-specific requirements with your engineering, quality, commercial, and supplier teams. For output inputs, state the full unit, counting object (cell, module or PACK), measurement point, and whether the value is a target or a measured result. Include a source and revision for measured results. Keep unknown values as unknown, not zero; expand abbreviations such as PPM in your project notes.
1. Early-Stage Battery Module & PACK Line RFQ Input Workbook
Prepare the known product range, target capacity and shifts, process and test boundaries, utilities, automation interfaces, and acceptance scope before requesting a concept budget or technical proposal.
2. Project Assumptions & Open-Item Register
Record assumptions, owners, evidence, due dates, change triggers, and items that block a reliable commitment.
3. Supplier Quotation Scope Comparison Workbook
Compare what each quotation explicitly includes, excludes, assumes, or leaves unstated. This workbook is not a supplier scorecard.
Review Draft: These files are planning aids, not approved engineering specifications, commercial commitments, or contract baselines. Final design, price, delivery, and acceptance commitments depend on agreed project inputs and confirmation.
